Refund and Cancellation Policy

Applies to: Online Payments via Razorpay & Cash on Ride


๐Ÿ” 1. Ride Cancellation by User

  • Before Ride Start:
    You may cancel your ride before the driver starts the journey. If canceled in time, no cancellation fee is charged.
  • After Ride Start:
    If a ride is canceled after it has started or the driver has already arrived, a cancellation charge of โ‚น30 may apply.

๐Ÿ’ณ 2. Refunds for Online Payments (Razorpay)

  • If you paid using Razorpay (UPI, Card, Wallet), and:
    • The driver did not arrive, or
    • The ride was canceled by Aaple Cab,
      then your payment is eligible for a full refund.
  • Refunds will be processed within 5โ€“7 business days to your original payment method.
  • You will receive an SMS/email confirmation once the refund is initiated.

๐Ÿ’ธ 3. Cash on Ride

  • If you chose Cash Payment, no online refund is involved.
    • You only pay after a successful ride.
    • If the ride is canceled, no cash is collected.

โŒ 4. No Refund Scenarios

Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:

  • If the passenger gives the wrong pickup address
  • No-show by the customer at the pickup point
  • Delayed cancellation after the driver has arrived and waited
  • Misuse of coupon codes or fake bookings

โœ… For Razorpay Compliance (Add to Footer Privacy Page):

All payments made via Razorpay are processed securely. We do not store your card or UPI data. Refunds follow Razorpay’s secure refund process.
